한 어린 소녀가 공원에서 비둘기에게 빵을 뜯어서 던져주고 있었습니다.
언제나 세계평화만 생각하는 아저씨가 그 광경을 목격하고, 진지한 목소리로 말했지요.
“얘야, 지금 아프리카같은 나라에서는 굶어 죽는 사람들이 한둘이 아니란다.
그런데, 너는 사람들도 못 먹는 빵을 새한테 던져주고 있구나.”
그러자 소녀는 아저씨보다 몇 배나 더 진지한 목소리로 대답했습니다.
“아저씨! 저는 그렇게 먼 데까지는 빵 못 던지는데요.”
