To Eat and Drink and find Satisfaction…

All his days his work is pain and grief;
even at night his mind does not rest.
This too is meaningless.

A man can do nothing
better than to eat and drink
and find satisfaction in his work.
This too, I see, is from the hand of God,
Ecclesiastes 2: 23-24

일평생에 근심하며 수고하는 것이
슬픔 뿐이라 그 마음이 밤에도
쉬지 못하나니 이것도 헛되도다

사람이 먹고 마시며 수고하는 가운데서
심령으로 낙을 누리게 하는 것보다
나은 것이 없나니 내가 이것도 본즉
하나님의 손에서 나는 것이로다
