The Umbrella

Life is
opening and closing
an umbrella everyday

Death is
one day
the umbrella does not open
any longer

Success is
owning so many umbrellas

Happiness is
lending  many umbrellas

Unfortunate is
nobody shares
any umbrella

Love is
sharing an umbrella
even if one side of your
shoulder is getting wet.

Separation is
Two come out of an umbrella
and opening  separate umbrellas

Sweetheart is
the most beautiful face  right next to you
under the umbrella
In a rainy day.

A married couple is
the most beautiful
when one waits for the other
with an umbrella at the bus station
in a rainy day.

If anyone knows how it is
to walk alone wet in a rainy day,
he knows
the art of living,

If anyone hand out an  umbrella
to a man walking wet
in a rain
he knows the meaning of life.

The rain makes the world beautiful
and the umbrella makes
men beautiful.

When one becomes an umbrella
to the other
the one will become a
most precious rain to the other.

it is raining onto the land of drought.

우 산

삶이란!
우산을 펼쳤다 접었다 하는 일이요.

죽음이란 !
우산이 더 이상 펼쳐지지 않는 일이다.

성공이란!
우산을 많이 소유하는 일이요.

행복이란 !
우산을 많이 빌려주는 일이고

불행이란 !
아무도 우산을 빌려주지 않는 일이다.

사랑이란 !
한쪽 어깨가 젖는데도 하나의 우산을 둘이 함께 쓰는 것이요.

이별이란!
하나의 우산 속에서 빠져나와
각자의 우산을 펼치는 일이다.

연인이란 !
비오는 날 우산 속 얼굴이 가장 아름다운 사람이요.

부부란 !
비오는 날 정류장에서 우산을 들고 기다리는 모습이 가장 아름다운 사람이다.

비를 맞으며 혼자 걸어갈 줄 알면
인생의 멋을 아는 사람이요.

비를 맞으며 혼자 걸어가는 사람에게
우산을 내밀 줄 알면
인생의 의미를 아는 사람이다.

세상을 아름답게 만드는 건 비요.
사람을 아름답게 만드는 건 우산이다.

한 사람이 또 한사람의 우산이 되어줄 때
한 사람은 또 한 사람의
마른 가슴에 단비가 된다.
